Community Satisfaction Survey

The Annual Community Satisfaction Survey for Local Government is undertaken to measure how Victorian residents rate the performance of their local governments. Mount Alexander Shire has been a consistent participant in the survey.

The survey provides a consistent format for assessing Council’s performance across a number of key service areas. The survey provides feedback to both State Government and to the participating local governments on how the delivery of services and the key function of local government are perceived by its community.

The 2018 Community Satisfaction survey is now underway. We encourage households to participate in the survey. It is carried out by independent market research agency National Field Surveys among a random, representative sample of residents from across the shire. Individual responses are confidential. Similar surveys will be undertaken across other Victorian councils in the coming months. The feedback will help Council identify areas for improvement in the delivery of programs and services.
