Branch out and enjoy our gardens

Stroll through the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens with fellow nature-lovers and Council horticulturist Sandra Hodge to discuss
significant plantings, the impressive tree collection, Lake Johanna and garden history.

Castlemaine Health is hosting a gentle hour-long stroll as part of their regular monthly walks. Meet the group at the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens Old Tea Rooms at 9.30am on Thursday 24 February. Bring a hat, water bottle and face mask.

This is a free activity and bookings are not required. For more information call 5479 1000.

Last chance to see the summer series

This week is your last chance to visit the Summer Market Building Art Exhibition in Castlemaine. Artwork includes a beautiful and diverse range of paintings, ceramics, photography, printmaking and more by local artists, and is available for purchase.

Opening hours: 9.00am – 5.00pm, everyday
Closing day: Sunday 27 February
Cost: free

Sale of unclaimed livestock

Council impounded one ram found in Ravenswood South. If the untagged ram is not claimed and expenses paid by Friday 4 March,
Council intends to sell the impounded ram by public auction at the Bendigo Livestock Exchange.
