Amendment C95 amends the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme as part of the ‘Planning Policy Framework translation’ process.
Updates the Land Subject to Flood Inundation Overlay (LSIO) and introduce a Floodway Overlay (FO) to manage the risk of flooding in Mount Alexander Shire
Amendment C084 rezones 26 Market Street Harcourt from the Farming Zone to General Residential Zone. The combined planning permit allows for a 32 lot subdivision.
Amendment C085 proposes to rezone the Diamond Gully Southern Residential Greenfields Area to General Residential Zone (GRZ1) and to apply a Development Plan Overlay (DPO11).
Planning Scheme Amendment for proposed supermarket at 98 Forest Street Castlemaine on the former Gasworks site.
Amendment C78 proposed to rezone land, on behalf of private landowners.
Updated Bushfire Overlay Mapping was introduced into the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme by Planning Scheme Amendment GC13 which came into effect on 3 October 2017.
Amendment C81 proposes to rezone land at 44-50 Lyttleton Street, Castlemaine from Public Use Zone to Commercial 1 Zone, and to apply the Design and Development Overlay.
Council has prepared a general amendment to implement recommendations from the Metcalfe Heritage Study and to correct identified errors in the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme.
This amendment proposes to introduce heritage overlays to the Forest Creek Channel, the Eastern and Western Reserves, and 15 industrial and residential buildings, as recommended by the Forest Street to Forest Creek Heritage Assessment.
Amendment C36 proposes to rezone land on the edge of Maldon from Farming Zone to Rural Living Zone.
Amendment C76 proposes to rezone land between Bulkeleys Road and Ireland Street (behind the old Borderline Garden Centre) from Rural Living Zone to General Residential Zone
Amendment C61 will introduce the recommendations of the 2010 and 2014 Mount Alexander Planning Scheme Review, Castlemaine Commercial Centre Study (2012), and Mount Alexander Rural Land Study (2013) to the Planning Scheme.
Amendment C74 rezoned land on the corner of Kennedy and Parker Streets (opposite Flowserve offices) in Castlemaine from the Industrial 1 Zone, to the General Residential Zone to allow residential development.
Amendment C72 - Gaming Policy Review 2014. The amendment guides decision-making on planning permit applications for gaming venues and Electronic Gaming Machines in Mount Alexander Shire.
Amendments C63 & C69 - Restructure Plans. The amendments provide access to Restructure Plans.
Amendment C56 implements the Diamond Gully Structure Plan into the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme.
