Koori Art Designs is owned and operated by Kerri Douglas. Kerri is a proud Dja Dja Wurrung and Bangerang Aboriginal artist. She lives on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Campbells Creek, with her family.

She uses a variety of different artist styles to create her artwork including acrylic on canvas, weaving and even experimenting with ochres on canvas. “It is calming mixing ochres and seeing the vibrancy of the colours that come from nature.”

Kerri uses her art works as a resource to communicate and educate people about Aboriginal culture. There are many things that inspire her artwork, but none more that her connection to Djandak (Country).  Walking on Djandak, dreams and Dreaming stories, poetry and much more. “As Aboriginal people, we connect to Country in a deeper way.  We come from the land, we care for the land and the land cares for us, and then we are returned to the land. Our lives are not linear. We live by cycles. Cycles of seasons, cycles of conversation, cycles of life.”
