Castlemaine Residents Against Biomass

Castlemaine Residents Against Biomass (CRAB) is a group of local residents formed in opposition to the proposed Mount Alexander Bioenergy from waste facility in Castlemaine, Vic, Australia.

We support genuine community consultation and the promotion of our interests in safeguarding the healthy nature of the environment in which we all live.

We are signatories to the Biomass Delusion Statement which has been endorsed by over 200 worldwide organisations including like-minded groups such as the Bob Brown Foundation and Environment Victoria.
