U3A Castlemaine

U3A Castlemaine, founded in 1988, is a voluntary, not-for-profit membership organisation of retired and semi-retired people.

The organisation provides opportunities for members to share knowledge, expertise and passions with other members.

Classes and activities are held through most of the year. There are no prerequisites or qualifications required, no exams held and no certificates awarded.

In 2024, over 60 classes and activities were offered to the membership of more than 400 people.

Attendance is free in most instances and an annual membership fee of $75 applies.

You don't need any special expertise to share, just a willingness to participate.
