Upgrading of sports oval lighting at the Harcourt Recreation Reserve in Harcourt will provide 100 lux LED lighting on the sports oval to replace the current floodlights which do not comply with the AFL guidelines.

Progress

All construction work is complete. Lights will be commissioned in early 2024 in time for the 2024 football season.

Project funding

The sports lighting project is jointly funded by the Victorian Government's Local Sports Infrastructure Fund, Mount Alexander Shire Council, and Harcourt Football Netball Club.
