Baringhup Road is a rural link road between Baringhup and Carisbrook. The road is a popular route for the commuters between Maldon, Baringhup, Carisbrook and destinations further along the Pyrenees Highway.

Project background

Mount Alexander Shire Council is reconstructing an approximately 750 m long section of Baringhup Road, between Allans Road and Boundary Road in Moolort. The segment of road listed is 1 km South-West of Allans Road and 1.2 km North-East of Boundary Road.

The proposed works includes the rehabilitation and stabilisation of existing road pavement with drainage improvements. This upgrade work will achieve uniform sealed road surface and improved drainage culverts for the road users.
