Councillor profile

What made you want to run for Council?

I wanted to show younger people - particularly young women -  that it was an option. That you don't need to wait until your life is sorted out, or you're older, or wealthier, or more professional, or retired. I was also looking for a way to give back to the community that has looked after me all my life, even when I was at my worst.

What are your top three priority areas for your term?

Affordable housing.

Championing equity and diversity.

Demystifying Council.

What do you love most about your local area and community?

I love the bush, the fiery sunsets, the stars, the birdlife, the critters, the trees, the sense of community, the diversity of people, the events and experiences, the quiet, the fun, the feeling of belonging. This is my home and I love it here.
