Nicky Thomas from the judging panel said "Yet again the submissions from the Mount Alexander business community have truly impressed us, as each business is so unique and doing such great things in their local community and beyond.”
"It’s always such a rewarding experience to participate in the judging process and witness the incredible ways in which local businesses are making a positive impact and enhancing our daily lives."
The winners for each category along with the overall Business of the Year winner will be announced at the awards night, which will be held at the Theatre Royal Castlemaine on Wednesday 15 November.
The night will also include a presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, acknowledging a local business leader who has made a significant impact in the business community.
This will be awarded posthumously to Larry O’Toole, who passed away last year. Mr O’Toole was one of the driving forces in building the hot-rodding industry in Castlemaine, which is now an important part of the local business community.
The night will also include live music from bands Martini Set and King Stone, with MC Marita Davies.
Tickets are $50. Drinks and dinner will be provided. Tickets must be purchased prior to the event from www.bit.ly/BusinessAwardsNight2023.
