Connect, learn and grow at the Mount Alexander Jobs and Training Expo
Published on 20 September 2023
Are you looking for your first job? Maybe you want a career change? Or an opportunity to upskill?
Mount Alexander Shire Council is inviting community members to attend the Mount Alexander Jobs and Training Expo this October.
The Castlemaine Town Hall will host the expo with over 25 employers and training providers under one roof.
The expo is an opportunity for both employers and job seekers to meet, chat and foster connections. It’s also a place to find out what jobs, traineeships, career pathways and volunteer opportunities are available across the shire.
Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Economic Development Coordinator, Natalie Parsons, said that Council is committed to supporting the community’s job seekers.
“The Jobs and Training Expo is a fantastic opportunity for residents to see what jobs and training opportunities are out there,” said Ms Parsons.
“Whether you’re looking for your first job, a change in career, an opportunity to upskill, or want to start volunteering in the community, this expo has everything you need.
“Here at Council we want to empower our community to connect with the right employers and training opportunities.
“We want to foster positive economic outcomes for both individuals and our community as a whole.
“I encourage anyone who’s thinking about their career to come along to the expo. It’s a free event where you’ll find so many resources under one roof!”
