Roadside slashing complete
Our team has been out and about across the shire over the last few months slashing grass along Council-managed sealed roads and rural intersections.
Roadside slashing is an important, annual initiative that helps reduce the risk of grass fires that can occur when cars pull over to the side of the road. We undertake roadside slashing in the lead up to Fire Danger Period, which came into effect in our shire on Monday 13 November.
