Council proud to win multiple awards

We’re proud to announce that Council is the recipient of two awards, both of which recognise the delivery of two very different projects.

Boorp Boorp Boondyil, an extraordinary exhibition dedicated to sharing Jaara stories and teachings, is one of the inaugural winners of Reconciliation Victoria’s 2023 Maggolee Awards.

This award celebrates and recognises strong partnerships between Victorian local governments and First Nations Peoples.

Stanley Park North Play Space in Harcourt, a new space with trees, accessible swings, a climbing wall, apple boxes and more, has won LGPro’s Community Assets & Infrastructure Initiative ($5 million and under).

This award recognises initiatives that benefit the community, showcase partnerships and manage community assets.

Well done to everyone who worked on these community projects.
