Council installs banner poles in Castlemaine

Mount Alexander Shire Council has installed four banner poles along the Forest Street side of Western Reserve in Castlemaine on Monday 26 February.

The banner poles are four metres high, and will display flags that promote events and festivals coming up in Mount Alexander Shire. They will also be used to highlight seasonal celebrations such as Christmas.

In the coming months, Council will invite local event organisers to be part of an annual Expression of Interest process to book the banner poles for promotional purposes.
