All aboard the community wellbeing bus

We’re inviting residents to make use of the community wellbeing bus that travels between Mount Alexander

Shire and Gurri Wanyarra, the wellbeing centre in Kangaroo Flat.

The wheelchair accessible bus is driven by friendly volunteers who pick up and drop off residents, who don’t have access to transport, directly from their homes.

The bus travels to Gurri Wanyarra on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, providing access to the pools, health club and group fitness classes.

Gurri Wanyarra is equipped with accessible designated parking, wheelchair access, accessible changerooms, lift access to the health club and a gradual ramp entry to the large warm water pool.

The cost is $5 per person and carers travel for free.

To book, call Council’s Community Wellbeing team on 5471 1797 or email info@mountalexander.vic.gov.au.
