Meet the climate change-makers

Meet Peter

Peter has a low energy household with insulation and double-glazed windows. This has reduced the need for heating and cooling.

He buys electric appliances in place of gas appliances to further reduce his carbon dioxide emissions.

In his garden, most of his tools are battery powered, including his lawn mower.

We recently asked you what you’re doing to take action against climate change, and you told us stories about composting, planting trees, cycling instead of driving and lots more!

In April, we’ll be sharing these stories with you, with the aim to inspire and learn from each other.
