Community Grants awarded

Congratulations to the 17 local groups who received funding in our last round of Community Grants.

Some of the projects include a radio series on menopause, a seed library celebration, a map of the Castlemaine Botanical Gardens and community-based artwork.

“Community groups and clubs are the heart of our shire, and we want them to feel supported in all the positive work that they do,” said Mayor Rosie Annear.

“We’re funding an exciting variety of project this round, all of which aim to connect and strengthen our community.

“Congratulations to all our grant recipients. I’m excited to see these amazing projects come to life.”
