Council establishes affordable housing trust

We’re progressing plans to make affordable housing possible for more people in our shire by establishing an affordable housing trust.

The trust is an independent charitable organisation, which will hold land and funds for the development of affordable housing locally.

We’re excited by the trust and its possibilities, but understand it’s complex, so we’ve created a space online where you can ask questions and get them answered by Council’s Housing Solutions Broker.

We’ll also be holding face-to-face information sessions about the Mount Alexander Affordable Housing Trust in the coming weeks too.
