Thanks for a great pool season!
Published on 12 March 2024
Mount Alexander Shire Council is thanking the community for a great pool season and inviting feedback to improve facilities for the following summer.
Council’s outdoor pools have been operating over the summer months in Castlemaine, Maldon, Harcourt and Newstead.
Community members can share their feedback on Council’s outdoor pools via a short survey on www.shape.mountalexander.vic.gov.au.
Mount Alexander Shire Council’s Acting Manager of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities, Troy Lyons, said this summer was a huge success.
“We’ve had a great three months of swimming, pool parties, sausage sizzles and trying to beat our personal bests”, said Mr Lyons.
“We’re now reflecting on the pool season and want to hear from our community about what they think of our facilities, what did they most enjoy about visiting their local pool and what could be improved for next year.
“We really value our community’s feedback. We have very passionate and knowledgeable residents who are in the best position to tell us what can be improved for next year.
“We have a short survey up on our engagement website, Shape Mount Alexander, at the moment and I encourage everyone who visited one of our outdoor pools to take a few minutes to tell us what you think.”
