Looking to take the next step in your career, explore a new job path, or build the skills you need to succeed in the workforce?

Come along to the Castlemaine Careers Fair on Wednesday 19 February from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

The event is spread across four venues in and around the Castlemaine Town Hall, including Castlemaine Community House and Phee Broadway Theatre.

With nearly 50 organisations in the jobs and training sector in attendance—including small local businesses, major employers, and leading training providers—the event provides people with the opportunity to explore new career paths, learn how to stand out to employers, and discover local training opportunities.

Highlights of the Castlemaine Careers Fair include:

• A vibrant Expo Hall at the Castlemaine Town Hall – this venue brings together a diverse mix of local employers, training providers, and employment services. Experts will be on hand to provide personalised advice and support, helping attendees plan their next career step with confidence. Visitors can also get hands-on at trade displays and experience virtual reality training.

• Panel discussions and workshops at the Phee Broadway Theatre – panel discussions and workshops cover topics like CV tips, career planning, and using technology in your job search.
  
  
• Specialised workshops and information sessions at the Castlemaine Community House –  learn more about what’s involved in starting your own business at these specialised workshops and information sessions.
  
  
• Small Business Bus - Visitors can also stop by the Victorian Government’s Small Business Bus for one-on-one advice about turning business ideas into reality.
  
  
• Workshops and Q&A sessions at the Castlemaine Town Hall – Attend sessions covering starting your first business, writing winning CVs and cover letters, volunteering opportunities, and more.
  
  
• Live radio broadcast – MainFM94.9 will be broadcasting live from the event.

“Whether you’re just starting out in the workforce, thinking about a career change, or exploring entrepreneurship, this event brings together all the resources, advice, and connections you’ll need.
