The role

Provide administrative support to the Building Services team through:

  • Maintenance of systems, databases, online content, equipment and records
  • Assist in the timely response to enquiries, preparation of correspondence, reports, minutes and agendas, and meeting arrangements for the team
  • Liaise and coordinate with government departments, statutory authorities, community groups, and others, in order to deliver excellent service.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality, interacting with sensitive and time critical documents and processes.

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar role
  • a general understanding of building legislation
  • demonstrated skills and experience with computer systems
  • skills in managing time, planning and organising work to meet competing deadlines
  • experience in providing quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Local Government experience would be advantageous
