The role

Our tight-knit team operates with a solutions-focused, client-first approach to service delivery.

This is a fast-paced and dynamic role, acting as the conduit between clients and Direct Care Workers, and is crucial to our service provision success.

Key responsibilities undertaken by the Business Support Officer – Rostering include:

  • Providing flexible and responsive scheduling of support services to meet clients' needs
  • Timely communication with clients, families and staff regarding service changes
  • Administration of client and staff rosters, with consideration to consistency, efficiency and fairness, whilst maintaining Direct Care Worker minimum contracted hours
  • Undertake other administrative tasks as directed by your supervisor

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, and able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines, demonstrating a focus on client satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal/external customers
  • Previous experience in a high-volume rostering / scheduling role
  • Attention to detail, with exceptional administration and accurate data entry skills
  • Able to demonstrate a calm, empathetic and professional customer focus
  • Previous experience in an aged care, disability or healthcare environment is highly desirable
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards
