The role

Multiple casual positions available.

Civic Facilities Cleaners ensure Council managed venues, offices and public conveniences are cleaned in an efficient and effective manner to ensure the provision of clean and hygienic facilities for all users.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning of all surfaces, including toilets, urinals, basins, floors, door handles, mirrors and tiles
  • Emptying of litter bins and replenishing of toiletries
  • Minor maintenance and safety checks, and subsequent reporting of damage or vandalism
  • Monitor and maintain adequate stocks of cleaning materials and chemicals

 

Our ideal candidate

To be successful in this role you will have:


  • Experience in a cleaning role, with an eye for detail
  • Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and products
  • Awareness of OH&S requirements relevant to the position
  • Current Drivers licence

 

Applicants will need to be physically able to undertake the duties of this role. A pre-employment health declaration and medical assessment are part of the recruitment process.
