The role
Reporting to the Director Infrastructure and Development, the Grants Coordinator will proactively identify and attract funding opportunities for Council programs and services, building strong relationships with community groups, government departments and other funding agencies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Identification, application and advocacy for external funding across the organisation
- Preparation and submission of grant applications
- Support Council teams with the monitoring, reporting and acquittal of funding
- Policy and procedure development and implementation
- Reporting to the Executive team and Council

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Relevant experience and qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in successful end to end grant processes
- Project management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve outcomes and meet deadlines
