Maldon Heritage: Why does it matter?
This free public presentation explores the history of Maldon's heritage from the township's nomination by the National Trust in 1966 as Australia's First Notable town through to the relevance of, and challenges to, the local heritage today.
Hosted by The Maldon Heritage Network, a new community-based advocacy group for local heritage, you will have the opportunity to hear from the knowledgeable Trevor Budge.
Trevor has had extensive experience in town planning in regional and rural areas and is currently one of two coordinators for the Victorian Goldfields World Heritage bid.
Refreshments served after the event.
