Seniors Festival - Intergenerational Playgroup

This Seniors Month, connect with the young and young at heart in our community at Banksia Buds Intergenerational Playgroup.

Intergenerational Playgroup brings together the young and young at heart – to build connections through play. This volunteer run group meets weekly at Castlemaine’s West End Hall on Friday mornings to share a cuppa and take part in unstructured play including music, art, story time and wherever the imagination takes us!

Inspired by ABC's 'Old People's Home for 4yr Olds', the playgroup aims to foster awareness, understanding and respect between generations, and break down social barriers and isolation commonly experienced by new parents and ageing communities. And most importantly, make new friends and have fun!
