Vintage Shorts - Maldon vintage short film festival

In association with Maldon Golden Movies (MGM), 2024 sees the launch of the Maldon Vintage Short Film Festival, affectionately known as Vintage Shorts.

A festival inviting filmmakers from around the world to consider the value of something old or vintage, to find the beauty in the subject and to show us that beauty in things, homes, cities, people: all better with age because of their story.

By audience vote, recognition will be given for several categories: best picture, best story and screenplay and best design.

All categories should be judged on how well a particular aspect of the film (or the film itself) conveys the journey from 'age' to 'vintage', showing the beauty of ageing, the wisdom of elders and the value of vintage in life.
