Our standard bin size for general waste is 80 litres and costs $450.00 per year. The charge will appear on your annual rates notice.
You can upsize your general waste bin size to size 140 litres which costs $653.00 per year.
Your waste service includes a recycling bin, which only comes in 240 litre size.
The charge will appear as a 'Waste Charge' on your annual rates notice. The recycling fee is included within the waste charge.

How to find your rubbish bin size
General Waste Bin – There are two sizes available: small (80 litres) and large (140 litres). Please note both general waste bin sizes are smaller than the size of your recycling bin which is 240 litres.
Most wheelie bins have the volume capacity stamped on the lip of the bin (where the lid meets the bin). Stand in front of the bin, lift the lid and you will see the stamp underneath around the right lip of the bin.
Please note - the physical dimensions of the mobile bins have changed over time, however, the capacity of the bin (measured in litres) has not. It is the volume capacity of your general waste bin that determines the waste charge you pay as part of your rates.
