Mindfit at Work program

Council is offering a range of workshops for the local business community aimed at helping people develop practical tools for managing their mental health.

The program is called Mindfit at Work, and comprises of seven sessions held monthly from May to November that each explore a different aspect of mental health and wellbeing.

The Mindfit at Work program is being delivered by a Castlemaine-based wellbeing consultancy company, and uses a mix of behavioural science research, psychology and mindfulness techniques to enable participants to transform how they think, feel and behave.

The workshops being offered are:

RESCHEDULED: Tuesday 13 July – Build Mental Muscles - 7pm start to 8.30pm (1.5hrs)
• Monday 9 August - #HappinessHacks - 9.45am to 11.30am (1.5hrs)
• Tuesday 7 September – Mindset Reset - 5.45pm for 6pm start to 7.30pm (1.5hrs)
• Monday 4 October - Focus - 9.45am to 11.30am (1.5hrs)
• Tuesday 9 November – Bounce - 5.45pm for 6pm start to 7.30pm (1.5hrs)
• TBD – #StressBustingHacks – 9.45am to 11.30am (1.5 hrs)

Tickets go on sale three weeks prior to each session. To book, please go to the Mount Alexander Shire Council Box Office. Please ensure that you have selected the date of the workshop in the top left corner to ensure that the booking link will be available to you.

Small business workshops 2021

Small business owners in Mount Alexander Shire have the opportunity to build skills and knowledge in a series of free workshops. Mount Alexander Shire Council has partnered with the Melbourne Innovation Centre to deliver the workshops that support and encourage local small businesses.

In response to the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic, please note that all workshops will be delivered online until further notice.
