Small Business Workshops

Mount Alexander Shire Council has partnered with Business Victoria to deliver three FREE workshops over the next three months to help our local businesses.

The next workshop:

What: Micro Business Health Check
When: Monday 26 September from 9:30am - 12:30pm
Where: Face-to-face, on site at council offices.
Cost: Free!!

This workshop is designed to help micro businesses understand how regular self-assessment will set them up to identify key issues before they arise.

Small Business Bus

The Small Business Bus travels to locations across Victoria providing advice and support for small businesses in metro and regional areas.

Business advisors from Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS) can help with 1:1 tailored advice on topics such as financial hardship and business planning for established businesses. The Bus also has a Concierge service which provides general information about Business Victoria as well as the Planning and Starting Your Business pack.

The Business Bus was in Castlemaine and Maldon throughout August. It will be sure to return again so sign up to the Business Link newsletter to find out when it's next in town as well as getting all other business news.
