Plan Harcourt (Amendment C94)

Maldon Design Guidelines
The Maldon Design Guidelines aim to guide design and development that is sensitive to preserving the historical significance and character of Maldon.
Shire-wide Settlement Planning Assessment
The Settlement Planning Assessment plans to accommodate projected population growth over at least a 15 year period and provide clear direction on locations where growth should occur.
Elevating ESD Targets project
Council is participating in a joint research project which aims to elevate Environmentally Sustainable Development (ESD).

Corrections Amendment (Amendment C97)
Council is preparing a planning scheme amendment to correct errors and anomalies within the Mount Alexander Planning Scheme, which are associated with both the mapping (zoning and overlay) and ordinance of the Planning Scheme.
Harcourt Infrastructure Plan
The Harcourt Infrastructure Plan identifies the infrastructure that needs to be delivered in order to meet the needs of the growing population.
Castlemaine, Campbells Creek and Chewton Housing and Neighbourhood Character Strategy
Castlemaine Heritage Study
The Castlemaine Heritage Study will identify places of heritage significance, review existing heritage overlays and document information to support future amendments.
